I need to work hard on developing my soft-skills to be competitive.
I have a good commitment to my work and to getting what I want and need. But a Lack of communication and soft skills tumor is causing pain in my academic and career development. In addition to the skills gained from team projects, this week's reading and video will explain the importance of having soft skills in a team environment. As Alexander Lyon articulated in the video "we want to demonstrate we have a strong work ethic, internal drive, and dependability. other people should know they can count on us."(alexander Lyon,2021), To be competitive and successful in my academic and career path, I need to be able to present myself with good technical and soft skills that will lead to high career opportunities." interacting with other people. Specifically, today’s job market favors those who have the skills to be good team players." (Powell,2017).
Based on what I have learned from all my classes in my first quarter at Seattle Central College and the skills I will acquire in the future, I will be able to achieve my goals if I use all the resources available to help me. I am committed to my academic goal of becoming an IT professional in the healthcare IT industry. I believe that with better planning, commitment, and time management, my goal can be achieved. I am excited to learn more about how to acquire and improve the skills I need to achieve my career goals and use them.
So far I
have been very positive about my experience and learning curve at Seattle
Central College. I am confident to face and overcome any challenges to achieve
my goal.

Hi Adddi, nice post. I think we all have traits/skills we need to work on. I believe with your determination and hard work, you will get to where you want to be. I know I have lot's of skills I have to work on myself, but with time and dedication it will come. Great post!!
